What to expect during your first several weeks starting at Invo
Onboarding FAQs for Your First Day
1. Who will reach out to me for onboarding?
Ans: An Onboarding Specialist will reach out to you to help you get started on your new hire journey and introduce you to your manager.
2. What will be the first step in the onboarding process?
Ans: The completion of paperwork will be the first step in the onboarding process.
3. Will I receive Salesforce training during onboarding?
Ans: Yes, you will receive Salesforce training during onboarding, including timecard tips such as Hourly Timecard Entry and Professional Development Expense Entry.
4. How will I receive my company email address?
Ans: You should have received an email address prior to your first day. Please reach out to Invo IT support should you need assistance with your company email address.
5. How often should I check my company email address?
Ans: We expect all employees to check their company email address at least 2-3 times per week, as important information from the Human Resources Department will be sent to that address.
6. What is the UKG Portal and why is it important?
Ans: The UKG Portal is where you can update your W-4 and Direct Deposit information, check your online pay stubs, and request PTO. It is important to update this information to ensure a smooth first payroll for you.
7. How can I log into the UKG Portal?
Ans: The URL for the UKG Portal is https://e15.ultipro.com. Your username will be your first initial + last name + year of birth, and your default password will be your date of birth in MMDDYYYY format.
8. What should I do if I need help with the UKG Portal?
Ans: You can find the UKG instruction guide from your Onboarding Specialist to help you through different changes or processes that you may need to complete during your onboarding. Please be sure to review, verify and update, if necessary, any personal information including address, phone number and email address. Enroll in Benefits or 401(K)
Enroll in Benefits
FULL TIME EMPLOYEES ONLY (Excluding Standard Pay & PT). Please refer to your employment offer for details. You are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You will have 60 days from your start date, to enroll in your benefits. It's best to enroll before your eligibility date so you will have your coverage cards when your benefits take effect. You will need to visit our online enrollment site to elect coverage for any of the following: medical/prescription, dental, vision, supplemental life insurance, supplemental AD&D insurance, and flex spending. I have included directions on how to use the online enrollment site below, but they are also included in the benefit guide.
You are eligible for 401(k) savings plan on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You are able to defer up to 100% of your pretax dollars, subject to IRS limits. Our 401(k) is administered through Charles Schwab. Default User ID is your Social Security Number. Password 8 digit date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY) If you have questions, call the Retirement Plan Hotline at 1-(877) 343-2791. M-F 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST Password resets can be completed by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
Packing Your Bag: New Hire Orientation
Join a live New Hire orientation which provides new team members with the tools and resources to help you plan for a successful start of the school year. Orientation is held virtually every Tuesday at 5:00pm EST. This is an optional event and hosted through Microsoft Live Teams link below. Please keep in mind that you might not have access to the systems immediately.
Note: Hawaii team members meet for live orientations every Tuesday at 11am.

Introducing our new Professional Development Series: Thera-Chats. Thera-Chat is a free hour-long webinar presented by members of Invo Clinical Leadership team. Thera-Chat topics vary each month and are held virtually on the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of each month. Please note, Thera-Chats are optional to attend but would love to have you join us for the topics most helpful to you!

Do you hear a lot about sensory processing, or hear people saying things like, "Oh that's sensory!" , but you're not really sure what that means?? Join us to learn about the basics of the sensory systems and how their functions impact students' development, attention and behavior, including introductory information to address sensory processing challenges in the school environment.
Presenter: Heidi Lockett, OTR/L is an Invo Clinical Manager located in the Northern California region. She has been an occupational therapist for 37 years and has been working with children who have sensory processing challenges for more than 27 years. Her pediatric experience includes providing OT in schools, therapy clinics, and early intervention services in the home. Heidi loves helping children make sense of their world!
