INVO HEATHCARE ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW PROGRAM TO SUPPORT
KINDERGARTEN READINESS FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM
iSHINE Program to Help the Youngest Children with Autism Make the Greatest Gains

DOYLESTOWN, PA -July 15, 2022 - Invo Healthcare, one of the largest and most comprehensive providers of autism and behavioral health services, announced the launch of iSHINE, its newest program designed exclusively for children with autism who are five years old and under. Developed by doctorate-level BCBAs, iSHINE is a specialized program that provides young children diagnosed with autism the opportunity to build social skills, participate in peer modeling and engage in a structured early childhood classroom environment while receiving 1:1 therapeutic Applied Behavior Analysis services. As children reach goals and achieve milestones, their participation in the classroom setting increases, helping each child build a strong foundation for school readiness, with a goal of reducing or in some cases eliminating the need for additional services after entering more traditional learning environments.

iSHINE is unique in that it provides medically necessary services in an environment that simulates an early educational setting. Children who are enrolled have the opportunity to safely and effectively prepare for all parts of kindergarten, while meeting the goals set as part of their care plan.

iSHINE will be offered in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, and Pennsylvania at ABA Therapy Centers that are part of the Invo Family of Companies, including Invo Behavior and Therapy Services, Autism Home Support Services, Xcite Steps, ABA2DAY and Positive Behavioral Connections.

"iSHINE aligns the tremendous benefits of traditional applied behavior analytic services with the benefits of a preschool experience. As parents, we want our children to experience the magic of a great early childhood education experience, so they are well prepared socially and academically. The families we serve want nothing less, but they also want the assurance that their children are developing the skills they need to successfully transition to, and ultimately thrive in, a traditional educational setting. Too often, our families feel as if they need to prioritize one over the other, when their children may need both," said Matt Stringer, President and Interim CEO of Invo Healthcare. "We strive to meet the needs of the children we serve on every level. The benefits of early intervention for children with autism or developmental delays are significant. Our program builds social, emotional and life skills that are essential for greater levels of independence, for school and beyond."

Dr. Brittany Wierzba, BCBA-D and Chief Clinical Officer for Invo Healthcare added, "Research continues to support the importance of early intervention for children with autism. As children work toward their goals during both 1:1 ABA therapy and integration with peers in a group setting, the proportion of time spent with peers and in learning groups is increased, which ultimately prepares each child for a successful transition into the classroom."

iSHINE is offered during morning and early afternoon sessions. The number of hours each child receives through iSHINE is determined based on an assessment performed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Applied Behavior Analysis services are typically covered by commercial insurance and Medicaid. Families interested in iSHINE can call (844) 247-7222 or email ishine@invohealthcare.com.
