Validating Invo's Data with Clemson University for Strong Outcomes

The students that Invo and the school districts we work with reach are too valuable for us to 'hope' we're providing solutions that produce positive outcomes. That's why developing programmatic solutions is a science that we take incredibly seriously, and why our partnership with the Clemson Center for Behavior Analysis (CBA) means so much to us.

Validated data from the CBA is what our programmatic solutions grow on, solidifying our approach to producing positive outcomes in mental and behavioral health.

CBA serves as a partner in the field of Behavior Analysis, and is a part of the Clemson University Learning Institute.

The CBA mission involves bringing Behavior Analysis to developing regions and countries where access to behavior analysis and quality services do not exist. The REACH program was designed to provide introductory training in behavior analysis while partnering with local parents, providers, universities, and governmental agents to enhance the level and/or quality of services made available to individuals with disabilities.

Why We Chose Third-Party Data Validation

Enhancing the Credibility and Trustworthiness of Findings

Let's be blunt with each other - validation by an independent team signals to the broader academic community that our findings have been rigorously examined by impartial experts. This significantly increases the objectivity and trustworthiness of our research.

We are constantly efforting towards building a stronger research reputation by demonstrating a commitment to rigorous validation.

Mitigating Researcher Bias

We think we have incredible solutions to drive outcomes. Unfortunately, this affinity in what we do can unconsciously lead to Confirmation Bias, influencing our data analysis and interpretation, leading us to see patterns that support our initial ideas, even if alternative explanations exist.

Invo also works to mitigate Methodological Bias. Partnering with CBA prevents our familiarity with the data and chosen methods from limiting us and overlooking potential alternative approaches. CBA can scrutinize our methodologies with a critical eye, identifying potential biases in the data design, analysis, or interpretation.

Referencing Our Data Against Global Models

CBA has a global reach, developing programs in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Portugal, and Romania. This global reach builds data-sets that go far beyond what Invo brings to the 'analysis table'. We expect CBA to propose alternative interpretations of our findings based on their expertise and different analytical approaches, leading to a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of the data.

The CBA team offers an informed perspective on the generalizability of our findings against other populations or contexts. This validation process sparks valuable discussions and collaborations, leading to new insights and directions for program development.
